WoW™ IN BRIEF

The WoW technology originates from a crucial discovery in the fluid dynamics made by the founder while developing an innovative water purification system. The discovery consists in the possibility to control local physical properties in a fluid inside an evaporator by medium of a patented internal tool and a specific control software. The first results immediately suggested to test the applicability of the WoW technology to more stringent operating conditions, such as those related to liquid radioactive waste. And the tests gave fully positive result.

Today WoW™ Wonderful Water is a solution based on a revolutionary patented method for turning any contaminated water into pure drinking water.

It obtains high volumes of pure water by separating and concentrating pollutants at an unprecedented rate. It is highly effective on any kind of pollutant: radioactive, pretrochemical, biological and more. It is based on evaporation controlled by an advanced algorythm that minimizes the “drag effect”.

WOW™ was first conceived by Adriano Marin and is now developed and tested by a dedicated team at Pavia University. Tests have also been performed succesfully at CNR (National Research Council of Italy) and at ARPAV Laboratories in Padua. Since September 2014 a scaled-up version of the WoW™ solution is operational at the Saluggia nuclear repository in Italy, with impressive results (see the Media section).

The WOW process is the combination of a standard evaporation/distillation process and a new fluid dynamics technology that allows to separate liquid solvent from solute and suspended components of a solution.

The theoretical base is a unique and solid high order physical theory on transformation of a liquid solution from homogeneous to dis-homogeneous. The technology developed by WOW controls such a phenomenon through an active process, so to either cancel or amplify the entrainment or “drag” effect of any evaporation process, that is an unwanted secondary effect usually limiting the actual performance of distillation and evaporation processes.
